This is the 10th season that cabaret nights have been held at Original Sokos Hotel Viru. To avoid confusion, it should be noted that this is not a Soviet-time Viru Variety Show; the Viru Hotel collaborates with the top artists of today from the Estonian Dance Agency revue theater Starlight Cabaret. The performance has been put together by Kristjan Kurm, and the culinary experience is taken care of by Margus Tamm, Chef de Cuisine of Viru Hotel Merineitsi Restaurant.
On the stage are dance artists from Starlight Cabaret and the vocal soloists Irina Haak and Nele-Liis Vaiksoo and Kalle Sepp or Bert Pringi. In the stylistically diverse revue, one can see a vast array of numbers from the ballet to hip-hop, from polka to rock; there are duets and a classical chorus line.
The à la carte flavors of the restaurant range from deer meat from Estonia to the silver salmon from Alaska. From Estonian quail to a world-famous dessert in a novel form. The wine selection, matched with the dishes, is taken care of a team of Estonia's best sommeliers!
