Spring and summer events in Kalamaja
The 4th Tallinn Street Food Festival, 10.-11.06
Tallinn Street Food Festival introduces the hottest street food trends, gives new local food trucks a chance to shine for the first time, and brings together many of Estonia's talented alternative chefs. Additionally, for "Finland 100", a special Finnish food area will be included in order to celebrate the one-in-a-lifetime event.
At the same time as the street food mania, the 3rd TaDaa! festival will take place: an international street performance festival that offers street-inspired entertainment for the whole family in a yard of the Telliskivi creative city.
Tallinn Maritime Days, 15.-18.07
The venues of the city's largest family-friendly festival will be the Tallinn harbour area, and in Kalamaja, the Seaplane and Noblessner Harbours. The Tallinn Maritime Days program will be published on July 6th.
The night of ancient lights, 26.08
On the evening of the last Saturday in August all Estonian people will be invited to seaside in order to light a bonfire on the beach and form a chain of fires to unite each of the neighbours surrounding the Baltic Sea. Bonfires will be lit on the beaches and harbours of Kalamaja.
In addition to the major events, Kalaturg (Fish market), and the Telliskivi Creative City flea market are open every Saturday. The larger Telliskivi flea market festival is taking place on August 26th.
