Kimmel was awarded as Europe's best conference & event hotel
Original Sokos Hotel Kimmel was awarded in the World Luxury Hotel Awards competition as the Europe's best meeting and event hotel in the Luxury Conference & Event Hotel 2022, Europe category. The award ceremony was held in Antalya on the 22nd of October. The Eastern Finland's most versatile event hotel has 9 adaptable meeting spaces, 4 glass cabinets and Sirkkala ballroom. The hotel exudes modern-day Karelian luxury and it was fully renovated during 2021.

World Luxury Hotel Awards gala rewards quality hotels which have putten in significant effort into their surroundings as well as to the level of service. This year the winners were chosen from over 2000 hotels and holiday destinations. The final winners are chosen by the World Luxury Hotel Awards jury which evaluates the hotels based on their innovativeness, design, restaurant offering, quality of service and sustainable development. The awards are rewarded yearly on a country, regional, continent, and global basis.
