Carpe Diem. Carpe Tallinn. Travel with your four-legged friend
Küllike, the Internal Communications Manager of Hotel Viru, starts her day with an energetic walk with the family's best friend Happy. Happy is a Golden Retriever with charming eyes, who will soon celebrate its second birthday. The faithful member of the family always takes part in the leisure time activities of the family and generally accompanies the family on all day trips and shorter family holidays. Küllike views her hometown through the eyes of a caring dog owner and gives recommendations to those guests who have brought their four-legged friends along with them on the trip to Tallinn.
Happy's favourite walking route is in Kadriorg Park: past the stadium, Kadriorg Palace and the Russalka Memorial, and then along by the seaside back to the beautiful Swan Pond. There are also nice paths to walks near Schnelli Pond and in Hirvepark Park. There are two dog walking yards just a short walking distance from the hotel — Police Garden Park (at the corner of Kunderi and Pronksi Street) and Toompargi (Toompuiestee 24a) yard, where you can always find other hairy friends to get acquainted with. Different dog shows all over Estonia also serve as meeting places for dog enthusiasts and their four-legged friends.
Küllike's favourite per shop is PetCityXL. The friendly staff help you with any questions you may have, and you can also take your pet to the shop with you. PetCity XL is located somewhat outside the city centre, but Bosse pet shop can be found right here in Viru Keskus shopping centre.
Also, well-behaved dogs are welcome in many cafes and restaurants in Tallinn. Pets are welcome both in Hotel Viru and Restaurant Amarillo! At the hotel reception, a small surprise awaits all pets visiting our hotel.
