Experience art in the middle of nature – buy Helsinki Biennial ferry tickets easily when booking a hotel

You can conveniently purchase a Helsinki Biennial ferry ticket either when booking your hotel on the website or from the hotel reception during your stay.

Helsinki Biennial is an international contemporary art event that brings high-quality contemporary art to the archipelago nature of Helsinki. Held for the third time in Vallisaari, the major art event Helsinki Biennial 2025, from June 8 to September 21, will feature around 35 international artists or artist groups from both Finland and around the world.

The theme of the third biennial, Shelter, is inspired by Vallisaari, which has been without human habitation for decades. The biennial focuses on the delicate relationship between humanity and nature. In the artworks, the perspective shifts away from humans, giving prominence to animals, plants, fungi, insects, and minerals. At the same time, art creates new places of shelter and encourages positive action.
