Bomba's Midsummer celebrations are fun for everyone from babies to grandparents. Choose activities according to your own schedule and preferences! At Bomba, you can enjoy the beauty of nature, the Karelian spa, and the area's diverse services. Would you like to wake up in a spa hotel room with a view and shuffle in spa slippers to breakfast, or do you prefer the cozy atmosphere of the Karelian village? Will you choose a peaceful nature trip for your day's program, take a dip in the spa's soothing hot tubs, or would you rather go on a coopop electric moped ride? In the evening, we'll enjoy the sauna, light a bonfire, and experience the nightless night. Come spend an unforgettable Midsummer as our guest!

Programs and activities for everyone
Bomba Safaris serves all adventure seekers year-round - including Midsummer! Join a guided tour or rent equipment for your own adventure. Would you prefer pedal boating, kayaking, or cycling? On the upper floor of Kaleva Hall, there's also a bouncy castle for children!
Drop by the warmth of the spa
Our spa is open on Midsummer Eve from 10 AM to 10 PM (18+ from 8 PM to 10 PM) and on Midsummer Day from 9 AM to 10 PM (18+ from 8 PM to 10 PM). Explore our spa here.
Midsummer celebration and bonfire on the shores of Lake Pielinen
On Midsummer Eve, we'll gather at the hotel's Aurinkoterassi to celebrate together at 5 PM. Mikko Kartano will perform at Aurinkoterassi from 5 PM to 8 PM. Pancakes, sausages, and refreshments for sale from 5 PM to 8 PM.
The Midsummer bonfire will be lit near Safaritalo and the spa hotel on Midsummer Eve at 7 PM. Of course, the bonfire cannot be lit during forest fire warnings or strong winds. Secure the best spot on the water for viewing by renting a kayak, canoe, SUP board, rowboat, or even a pedal boat from Bomba Safaris to take out on the water! The evening continues
At Bomba House, Oluttupa is open with karaoke from 6 PM to 2 AM (18+).
Onni Orava joins the Midsummer celebration
The Bomba area has plenty to do for children. Read more here. Onni Orava is also celebrating Midsummer with us. You can meet Onni in the hotel's playroom on Midsummer Saturday at 9:30 AM.
Relaxed summer activities
Right in the hotel yard, there's a campfire site with a view of the lake. For a small fee, you can purchase a campfire moment package from the reception or Safaritalo for sausage grilling, which includes sausages with all the fixings and firewood (taking forest fire warnings into account, of course).
Summer games are freely available for all hotel guests to borrow. Who's the petanque champion of your group of friends? Who's the most accurate Mölkky player in the family? Or is beach volleyball your game after all?
