Our hotel has three saunas, each with its own jacuzzi, perfect for refreshing between sauna sessions. The names of the saunas are inspired by local culture, Raide and Sivuraide, as Kouvola is also known as a railway city. The women's sauna is located at Raide 1 and the men's sauna at Raide 2.

Saunas are open daily from 5 pm to 10 pm.

Are you planning a sauna evening?

If you are organizing one, our cozy sauna facilities include a lounge area, a changing room, and washing facilities, where you can enjoy a relaxing jacuzzi between sauna sessions. Our saunas can also be rented for private use—even if you are not staying at Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna Kouvola.

Various sauna packages are available for private bookings:

• Löyly package: €35 per person – includes sauna use and a towel
• Pore package: €38 per person – includes sauna use, a towel, salted peanuts, and vegetable sticks with dip
• Vihta package: €43 per person – includes sauna use, a towel, and Rosen Calabro salami pizza (salami, mozzarella, chili-garlic oil, and basil)
• Vasta package: €43 per person – includes sauna use, a towel, and Rosen Four Cheese pizza (crème fraîche, mozzarella, comté, roquefort, goat cheese, and basil)

Prices are based on groups of 2–4 people. The duration of a sauna session is 2 hours.

Our sauna facilities are licensed serving areas, and bringing your own food and drinks is prohibited. Beverages can be ordered from our restaurants and delivered directly to the sauna.

Our private sauna Sivuraide, with a jacuzzi, is available for groups of 4–16 people and can be booked online or via our sales service.
