In the fell, you can do all sorts of things during the summer!

Even after the snowy season, activities in Levi don't end. For families with children and others who enjoy water activities, there are two fine sandy beaches in the area, and rental equipment is available for paddleboarding and rowing. The Ounasjoki River is great for kayaking, and the silence of nature and beautiful scenery will surely make your soul sparkle.

An energetic day passes quickly at the Adventure Park, which has a lot of fun activities, and the nearby Gondola takes you to the top of the fell. From the summit trail, there are unobstructed views far into the surroundings of Levi, and the trail is accessible and suitable for both strollers and wheelchairs. Frisbee golfing down the fell is a fantastic experience, and the B1 course is suitable even for the youngest members of the family.

There are cycling routes around both Levi and Kätkä fell, as well as hiking trails. You can rent a couple of Jopo bikes from the hotel for village adventures, and for more demanding routes, it's easy to rent a bike from our partners.

Levi Golf is the northernmost golf course in Finland, inviting you to play around the clock during the midnight sun. The course is a full-length, 18-hole course with stunning scenery – you might even see reindeer enjoying the breeze around the course during your game.

The summer toboggan run on the Front Slope and the Adventure Park activities open around mid-June. The Gondola2000 lift with its magnificent views opens around Midsummer, when the downhill and enduro biking season also starts in Levi. In July, the NUTS Ylläs – Levi MTB race takes place, and more information about events in the area can be found on the website www.levi.fi.

If you enjoy art, there are few museums around the area where you can explore the Lappish artists art, homes and a lot more.

At the end of the summer, from July to September Finnish nature offers its best when berries and mushrooms ripen. We have everymans rights in Finland which allows anyone to collect these delicious treats from the forests. Just take your bucket and explore the Lapland in the most tastiest way!
