Break Sokos Hotel Tahko – anything but boring
All hotel rooms, meeting spaces, and restaurant areas have been renovated.
In 2024, a new extension was completed, adding 59 brand-new hotel rooms and additional services. Now, you can enjoy the Rooftop Spa on our top floor, while the lower level features a simulator game room and a 130-square-meter gym.
With these renovations, the hotel has been transformed into a stylish holiday destination where nature is seamlessly integrated into the hotel experience.
Tahko offers activities all year round. The ski resort, a wide range of sports and adventure activities, vibrant nightlife with top artists, and Tahko’s stunning nature ensure something for everyone.
Our hotel is also home to the Hillside restaurant, the unique distillery restaurant Hophaus, Sale grocery store, PizzaBreikki, and Hesburger.

The Standard King room is so practical that it does not matter whether you are travelling alone, with a partner, or with family or friends. The stylish room is equipped with a two-metre-wide King Size bed, and the windows provide such a fantastic view of the Tahkovuori slopes that you won’t be able to tell if you are awake or dreaming in the world’s most comfortable bed. The first-floor room also has a divan sofa that can be used as an extra bed, as well as a foldable extra bed under the main bed, allowing the room to accommodate up to four people.

And if you find yourself growing tired of the clean white sheets, you can head over to the lounge area and find a comfortable place on the divan, sofa bed or at the six-person dining table. Tahko Break’s loft suite provides a fantastic experience, combining the best parts of hotel luxury with Tahko’s traditional cabin atmosphere. The loft suite easily accommodates up to six people, as the bedroom has a super comfortable two-metre-wide Familon Superior bed, the loft has two separate 100-cm-wide beds, and the living room has a foldable sofa bed for two. The scenery of Tahkovuori and the lounge area with sofas and armchairs are sure to make the suite one of your favourite places in Tahko. The bathroom is equipped with a shower as well as a bathtub, allowing you to relax completely by yourself or with a partner. The loft gives this hotel room enough additional space to allow Tahko’s traditional cabin atmosphere to seamlessly blend in with hotel luxury. The room has space for up to six people, and the loft has a 160-cm-wide Familon double bed and two separate 80-cm-wide beds. The downstairs lounge area has more than enough room for socialising, as well as a foldable sofa bed for two. The third-floor loft rooms’ windows provide a view of the hotel’s back yard. Please note that the air conditioning is only downstairs and the loft can be hot, especially in the summer. Please also note that the stairs leading to the loft are quite steep.
