Staff rates vary according to hotel type.

• Original hotels in Finland are priced at €85/Standard room/day (single or double room) and other room categories at 45% off the daily rate.
• In Tallinn, Original Sokos Hotel Viru's Standard room price is €75/day (single or double room).
• Solo and Break hotel rooms are available at 45% off the daily rate. Breakfast is not included in the price at Break Sokos Hotel Himos and Break Sokos Hotel Tykkimäki Resort.
• At Heymo 1 by Sokos Hotels in Espoo, the basic room price is €75/day, other rooms 35% off the daily rate.

When you need an extra bed for a 3-15-year-old child at Sokos Hotels, your staff rate is €10/child.

Staff rate terms

Sokos Hotels staff rate is household-specific and intended only for S Group staff members.

The room reservation must be made in the name of the person entitled to the staff benefit, and the person whose name is on the reservation must stay in the room. The employment relationship must be valid at the time of stay.

The staff rate is intended for leisure travel and is valid on all days of the week, subject to availability. A limited number of rooms are available at staff rates.

The staff benefit cannot be extended beyond the staff member's household.

How to book and pay for a staff rate reservation

Book a staff rate room with booking code STFF on Sokoshotels.fi or the Sokos Hotels app no earlier than 60 days before arrival. Booking the benefit requires logging in to the site or app with an S-user account.

The staff rate room must be paid with an S-Bank payment card or in the online service using S-Bank online banking credentials. Cooperative-specific exceptions may apply.

Please note that eligibility for the staff rate room is verified at check-in using the chip on your S-Etukortti or the NFC-enabled S-Etukortti in S-mobile. If payment is made via Google Pay with an S-Etukortti Visa, you must show the card used from Google Wallet to the receptionist so that the card can be verified as an S-Etukortti Visa card.

Sokos Hotels Friends & Family rate offers a nice 30% discount off the daily rate, intended example for friends and relatives traveling with you. The price includes accommodation, breakfast, and sauna access depending on the hotel.

You can book max 3 rooms per reservation. The room reservation can only be made by an S Group staff member. A limited number of rooms are available.

Take advantage of your delicious restaurant benefit -25%

As a staff member, you have a 25% restaurant benefit in Sokos Hotels restaurants. You get the discount on all food and beverage products when paying your restaurant bill at the restaurant. The benefit also applies to customer-owner priced products but not tobacco products.

For technical reasons, the discount cannot be granted if you transfer the restaurant bill to your room bill. Staff discount is also not available for food and beverage products in the hotel room (minibar).
