You are always welcome

We strive to provide each of our guests and employees with a place where they can be met on equal and individual terms. Everyone should be able to stay with us in peace, both as a guest and as an employee.

Gender Diversity & Intersex Centre of Expertise, Seta ry, has organized training for our staff related to LGBTQIA individuals and creating a safer operational culture.

We, the staff of Sokos Hotels and S Group’s restaurants, are committed to the principles of a safer space and adhere to them in all activities and events taking place in our premises.

If you experience inappropriate behaviour or harassment in our premises related to, for example, your age, gender, sexual orientation or religion, please always feel free to contact our staff. We are here to help and support you in any incidents of harassment.

How can you help us create an equal space?

As our guest and employee, you are part of creating an open, equal, and inclusive world. This way we can all feel safer.

Let’s start by being respectful with each other in our words and actions. There is no place in our premises for behaviour such as mocking, belittling and hate speech, but all of us always have the time to listen to each other and apologise if necessary.

Always respect other people’s right to self-determination and personal space, both physically and mentally. Do not touch others without consent. Request space for yourself if necessary.

Remember that we are all bound by law. The Non-Discrimination Act promotes equality and prevents discrimination on the basis of characteristics such as sexual orientation and religion. The Equality Act prevents discrimination based on gender, gender identity and gender expression.
