"Wihta" Wiklund sauna open every evening
"Our customers were very pleased with the hotel right from the opening. This new hotel concept, where a good range of services are available under the same roof, has proven to be a success. However, our customers also felt that a sauna would complete the service experience, and we were delighted to meet this request. Our eight-person sauna is heated every day", says hotel manager Tarja Toivonen.
The sauna and sauna facilities have been tastefully designed, with inspiration taken from the Habitare interior decor fairs and other sources. The stylishly designed suspended deckchair-style seating and the rest of the sauna area reflect the trendy elegance of the whole hotel.
"We are proud of the external recognition we have received, and we warmly welcome all our customers to come and enjoy the Wihta sauna", Toivonen adds.
Sauna from Finland grants its quality certificate to sauna facilities that meet the standards for safety and hygiene, as well as for the overall sauna experience. In addition to hygiene and safety, the core values of the Authentic Finnish Sauna Experience are authenticity, presence, wellbeing, and a laid-back and multi-sensory experience. The quality criteria were recently updated, and Original Sokos Hotel Wiklund is the first hotel to meet the broader criteria.
