The Chosen Charity of Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna Kouvola
Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna Kouvola actively donates usable goods to the charity HOPE ry. A larger donation was made in 2020, when the Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna Kouvola was completely renovated. In the renovation, all bedding, beds and hotel furniture were renewed, which were donated to the HOPE association.

Hope is a charity that pursues the common good through voluntary work. It realises the vision of Finland as a country where all children can have equal opportunities for a good life. The charity provides clothing and other goods to low-income families and families that have experienced crises, and also supports hobbies and leisure activities for children and adolescents.
