The hotel is large, very modern, there was a sports bar inside and a nice restaurant, the lifts were fast. The rooms and bathroom were very modern, nice timber floors. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were nice and large.
It is off a busy boulevard so there wasn't too much noise from our room. it is opposite a mini-mart/shop. As we traveled as a large tour group we handed our passports into reception for the legal process of them registering us - we collected this the next day/later that night. So the check-in process for us wasn't too much of an issue.
St Petersburg was a lot larger then I imagined it to be, location wise it was OK, there was a metro nearby which we didn't attempt to take, but did walk to the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood - this took us about 40 minutes each way.
Staff were nice, some new some English and others didn't no much, there is a tourist desk where they can book tickets and excursions for you. - ozinlondon08
