Royal Vaasa supports the important work for the Baltic Sea

In December, there were five beautiful Christmas trees to view in the hotel lobby.

Each tree was decorated in the style chosen by the Christmas tree decorator himself.

The task of the hotel guests was to vote for their favorite.

The hotel gave 1000 € to the decorator whose tree received the most votes and that sum could

be awarded to the charity for any purpose.

Wasaline became the winner of the vote for  the most beautiful Christmas tree in 2018.

And they chose to donate the money to the WWF and more specifically to the work for the Baltic Sea. The Baltic Sea is one of the world's most polluted seas. Eutrophication, oil transport and climate change make the sea vulnerable.
