ORIGINAL SOKOS HOTEL ROYAL VAASA IS A WARM-SPIRITED, HISTORIC HOTEL IN THE HEART OF VAASA
Original Sokos Hotel Royal Vaasa is located in the middle of the city, along a beautiful park, next to all nessesary services.The historically valuable Central building has housed hotel operations for 80 years. When staying in the building that exudes old-time romance, you can feel time slow down.
Restaurant Central on the 2.nd floor of the hotel serves hotel guests and city residents breakfast, lunch and dinner. On the same floor you will also find our hotel's reception and meeting rooms. If you want a nightcap before retiring to bed, you can stop by the bar of the Central restaurant or O'Malley's pub downstairs.

Vaasa railway station is approx.150m away from the hotel. Check the next train departures here
AIRPORT
Vaasa airport is located approx. 10 km from the hotel. The easiest way to get to and from the airpot is with a taxi. We kindly recommend that you book a taxi in advance to get you from the airport to the hotel. You can book it by calling the taxi company directly on number +358 600 300 11 or you can contact our hotel reception and we will book the taxi for you +358 20 1234 619 or royal.vaasa@sokoshotels.fi.
PARKING
Customer parking is available both outdoors and indoors. The adress to the outdoor parking area is Pitkäkatu 41 or Rosteninkatu 8. Here's all the information you need to get to the parking.
TAXI
If you arrive by taxi please ask the driver to drop you off at the Taxi stop on Rosteninkatu. You can access the hotel from the front or the back door. The taxi can unfortunately not stop in front of the main entrance because there is a pedestrian street infront of the hotel where driving is prohibited.
RESTAURANTS
Restaurant Central, floor 2, serves as the hotel's breakfast, lunch and á la carte restaurant. You can find a bar area at the restaurant and S-Card dining also takes place in the Central restaurant.
BREAKFAST
The pub is located on the first floor of the hotel. Opening hours can be found here.
COFFEE BAR
The Coffee bar located at the reception is open 24/7 and offers drinks and snacks.
GYM
We cooperate with the fitness center Fitness24Seven where you can exercise 24/7. Fitness24Seven fitness center is located approx. one hundred meters from the hotel at Teräksenkuja 1-3. The gym has a women's own gym as well as modern equipment for strength training, a free weight area and a stretching area. The use of the gym is free for hotel residents, ask for a free membership card at the hotel reception to access the gym.
HOTEL GUEST SAUNA AND SWIMMING POOL
Our customer sauna and swimming pool are currently closed due to the hotel renovation. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
