Break Sokos Hotel Levi - Information for tour operators & travel agents

BREAK SOKOS HOTEL LEVI - THE HOTEL
Our hotel is located in the heart of the Levi village, only 100 meters from the nearest ski lift. The hotel is divided in three buildings located next to each other: Suvi (the main building), Loimu and Kide. The interior reflects the spirit of Lapland. The hotel rooms in three different buildings are decorated to reflect the different seasons: Lapland's summer brightness (Suvi), autumn russets (Loimu) and subdued tints of the winter (Kide). The flora and fauna of Lapland are also present in the décor, for example, in paintings and curtains.

In the hotel we have one à la carte restaurant, Restaurant Kiisa and one cafeteria, Coffee House & Bar (both located in the Suvi-building). Breakfast is served in Restaurant Kiisa.

Two saunas are available for hotel guests during evenings, and all hotel guests have complimentary access to Levi Wellness Club's gym (about 200 meters from the hotel). We also offer complimentary Wi-Fi for all our guests, both in rooms and in public areas. More detailed information about our hotel, please see here.

DESTINATION LEVI
Levi is an easily accessible destination all year round in Northern Lapland, 170 km north of the Arctic Circle. As a destination Levi offers wide range of activities, all year. Name of the destination comes from the Levi fell, and the Levi village is located right next to the fell. Nearest airport is Kittilä Airport (KTT), 15 km from Levi. Closest railway station is Kolari (80 km), followed by Rovaniemi (170 km)

In Finland we have four magnificent seasons, and Levi represents all these seasons beautifully.

Summer
Summer in Lapland is magical – the sun never sets and it's light also during the night. Beautiful shades of greens together with fells and rivers invite to spend an unforgettable summer holiday. Activities vary from hiking in total silence to the speed and excitement of downhill biking.

Autumn
Lapland is famous for it's "ruska", the colorful period in autumn when all the leaves turn yellow, red and orange. Also the terrain is vibrant in different colors. During ruska it's very popular to go hiking, and it's especially popular among Finns.

Winter
Winter Wonderland – that truly is the case in Levi. Snow covered threes, Northern Lights dancing on the sky and crispy, cold days. The Polar Night sets in in mid-December, and lasts until the beginning of January. When the sun again starts to rise above the horizon a bit by bit, we get to enjoy amazing pink skies. In February and March are popular winter holiday months also for Finns, and Levi is filled with live. The list of activities is endless – husky safaris, snowmobile driving, cross country skiing, alpine skiing – the list just goes on and on.

Spring
Levi is very popular also during spring months, and the slopes and cross country ski tracks are open until May. Bright, sunny spring days offer many wonderful experiences and memories as the day light time gets longer and longer.
