Autumn in St. Petersburg is a special season. Rains and falling leaves cannot hide the beauty of the city — moreover, the architecture seems to be more colourful now. Walking in a park or along an embankment, you can feel the real atmosphere of St. Petersburg. There are a lot of events that are worth visiting. We hope that you will find something to your liking.

In the beginning of the autumn, a new way of transportation is going to appear in St. Petersburg — retro tram. Its route will start from the oldest tram deport that is located on Vasilievsky island, not far away from Solo Sokos Hotel Palace Bridge. Taking a trip, you can not only feast your eyes on the city center but also get closer to the history of St.Petersburg.

Autumn is a so-called "golden season" here in St.Petersburg. It's a pleasure to be taking walks in the parks enjoying its beauty. You can go to the "Summer Garden" in the city center, one of the oldest parks of the city, or to "St. Petersburg's 300th Anniversary" park, a large park near the newly-built stadium "Saint Petersburg". If you want to travel to the suburbs, Pushkin and Pavlovsk are highly recommended — there are beautiful old palaces there, and they look magnificent against a background of colourful leaves.

When it gets a bit colder, an outdoor ice skating rink will be opened at creative space "New Holland" also very close to our hotels. You can ice skate on the territory of this historic island among the old buildings and later have a good meal at one of the cafes or restaurants.

There are also a lot of places that will be interesting not only for adults but also for kids. For example, not far away from our hotels, there is the world's biggest planetarium where you can find special programs for all ages. For cinema-goers, there is a unique Movie Heroes Museum ‘Movie Art' right in the city center, and an extraordinary "Museum of Emotions" with a huge variety of exhibitions and funny activities.  In St. Petersburg it's also possible to feel like a giant — one just need to visit Museum "Giant's House" where all the items are tremendous.
