The design of Solo Sokos Hotel Pier 4 focuses on a multisensory experience, uniqueness and responsibility.
Nature is close at the hotel. Feel the sea under your feet, a Finnish meadow in the courtyard and the wooden building's calming ambience. The windows open onto an impressive and ever-changing view of the sea and historic Helsinki.
Responsibility and sustainability direct the hotel's operation, from the raw materials to the service. We are creating a luxury of the future, in which quality outweighs quantity: we use less and recycle more.
We have already taken our ambitious climate goals into account in the design and construction phases. The building is aiming to be carbon neutral and the highest LEED Platinum environmental certificate is being applied for.
The energy needed by the property is produced entirely by renewable energy sources. The electricity used by the hotel is mainly produced by the S Group itself.
