This is a well positioned, comfortable and friendly hotel which provides excellent value for money. I have stayed here many times. In summer the rooms are nice and cool. In winter the rooms are toasty warm - especially when it is snowing outside.
It is a small but very cute, clean, nice hotel. Perfect for business trips or staying in Kokkola for the weekend. The staff are really friendly and breakfast is delicious - there is a wide range of things to eat. The hotel is centrally located 5-8 min walk from the shops. I slept like a baby in the room - not sure if it was the clean Kokkola air that got to my head or the room but the best sleep I had for a long time
Good hotel in the center of the city. My second stay here and would sleep here again. Nice clean room with all you need and of course free wifi throughout the hotel. It has a sauna and gym facility. Had a good breakfast.

We stayed for one night in the Presidental suite of Kaarle and it was excellent. Hotel locates next to marketsquare of Kokkola so you can enjoy downtowns opportunities with ease. Presidental suite is most suitable for couples.
Practicality and well maintained hotel. My room at Kaarle was tidy, spacious enough, although the bathroom is tiny Managed to find a spot at parking without troubles, enjoyed the buffet breakfast and was able to walk around the city in the evening without feeling unprotected in a strange city. Friendly front desk staff as well as at the restaurant, which seemed quite busy. I had no trouble for finding a table for one. Nice but small gym with HUR machines and some kettlebells. Rooms seem to have been updated recently especially compared to the corridor floor which seemed quite outdated and worn. However, looking forward to coming back, to see how the scenery and city changes with weather.

Mustakari is one of the most beautiful places in Kokkola. It is the fourth oldest yacht club in Finland, situated three kilometres from the centre of Kokkola – by the sea. Summer restaurant Mustakari is well known for its natural and local food.
