Activities and Things to Do for Everyone

Bomba Safaris serves all adventure seekers year-round - including during Midsummer! Join a guided tour or rent equipment for your own adventure. Would you prefer pedal boating, kayaking, or cycling?

There's also a bouncy castle fun area for children on the upper floor of Kalevan Hovi!

Our spa is open on Midsummer Eve from 10 AM to 10 PM (adults only 8-10 PM) and on Midsummer Day from 9 AM to 10 PM (adults only 8-10 PM).

Midsummer Celebrations and Bonfire on the Shore of Lake Pielinen

On Midsummer Eve, we'll gather in front of Kalevanhovi for a joint Midsummer celebration at 5 PM.

In front of Kalevanhovi, DJ Miki will warm up the Midsummer atmosphere starting at 5 PM, and on the pier terrace, there will be record dancing with summer waltz vibes from 5-8 PM.

Pancakes, sausages, and refreshments will be sold at Kalevan Kota from 5-8 PM.

The Midsummer bonfire will be lit near the Safari House and spa hotel on Midsummer Eve at 7 PM. During forest fire warnings or strong winds, the bonfire cannot be lit, of course. Secure the best spot on the water by renting a kayak, canoe, SUP board, rowboat, or even a pedal boat from Bomba Safaris! The Evening Continues

Mikko Kartano will play music on the Sun Terrace between 5-8 PM.

At Bomba House, the Beer Pub will be open and karaoke from 6 PM to 2 AM (18+).

Onni Orava Joins the Midsummer Celebrations

There's plenty for children to do in the Bomba area. Read more here. Onni Orava will also be celebrating Midsummer with us. You can meet Onni in the hotel's playroom on Midsummer Saturday at 9:30 AM.

Relaxed Summer Activities

Right in the hotel yard, there's a campfire spot with a view of the lake. From reception or the Safari House, you can purchase a campfire package for a small fee, which includes sausages with all the trimmings and wood for the fire (taking forest fire warnings into account, of course).

Summer games are freely available for all hotel guests to borrow. Who is the petanque master in your group of friends? Who is the most accurate Mölkky player in your family? Or is beach volleyball more your sport?
