Koli is a hiking paradise for the whole family! The stunning Ukko-Koli viewpoint is easy to reach on foot even with the youngest family members, as the walk to the top is not long. However, the route is not fully accessible, so it’s not possible to reach the very top with a stroller—there are a few hundred meters that must be walked. There is also a campfire site located very close to the hotel, and even the little ones will surely manage the short walk. What could be better than enjoying nature together! You can reserve snacks when booking your room, and firewood can be purchased from Nature Centre Ukko, located in the hotel’s courtyard.

In winter, Koli Ski’s slopes include runs suitable even for the smallest family members! Juniors can easily get up the slope with the magic carpet lift located next to the kids’ slope. We also offer a ski school where everyone can learn to ski safely with the help of professionals. More information about the slopes can be found here!

Just three kilometers away, the courtyard of Break Sokos Hotel Koli Kylä offers, during snow-free seasons, an enchanting journey along the Koli Enchanted Forest Forest -trail: A map revealing the secrets of the Magic Forest can be purchased at the reception.

Koli village also has a playground that invites children to play all year round. The playground includes swings, a bullfinch slide, climbing elements, a trampoline, and balance and rope courses. It is located in the center of Koli village near the community hall. The playground’s address is Merilänrannantie 4 c.

Indoors

If the weather is bad and you prefer being indoors, no worries!

On the hotel’s 1st floor, you’ll find a children’s play area. There you’ll also find Onni The Squirrel’s book cart, from which you can borrow books to read in your room or in the restaurant. From our game selection, you can also borrow games to enjoy together in your room with the whole family.

The entire family will enjoy the Koli Relax Spa Spa. A family ticket includes admission for two adults and two children (ages 4–12), or one adult and three children (ages 4–12).
