S-Card benefits at Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna, Joensuu

S-Card restaurant benefits in Vaakuna block

In the same Vaakuna building restaurants Amarillo and Rosso have special S-Card menus for business travelers, from which you can choose a meal with the S-Card meal benefit. Benefits are also available at Kauppahalli's Vispilänkauppa and VENN, as well as at the sports bar Bar Play by the market square.

  • Benefit valid only Mon-Fri. S-Card and accommodation booking must be presented to Karelia Golf.

Kiosk bag with S-Card meal benefit

  • The kiosk in the lobby of Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna offers S-Card customers a snack bag with one meal benefit.
  • Includes a savory product of your choice (chips or nut bag), a drink (soda, smoothie or juice), a sweet product (candy bag or bar) and a croissant/cheese twist.

Free visit to Joensuu EasyFit with S-Card

  • As a benefit for staying S-Card customers, free gym visit at the city center EasyFit gym. Ask for the key at reception. Limited number of keys available! The gym is just a few steps from the hotel, at Rantakatu 26 and open 24/7.

Mobile key in the app

  • Easier hotel life with the Sokos Hotels app. With the app, you can easily book a room at Sokos Hotels, check in and view your accumulated S-Card benefits.
  • Activate the mobile key in the app during check-in. It works like a room card, but conveniently stays in your phone.
  • S-user account guide

Quick Check-out

  • If you already paid upon arrival or with invoicing, you can leave your keys in the Quick Check-out box at the hotel reception, or in the mailbox at the parking garage door. We will automatically send you an accommodation receipt by email.
  • The Check-out function in the Sokos Hotels app is currently under development and will be available in the autumn.

Self-service kiosk

  • Avoid queues – with the kiosk in our hotel lobby, you can check in quickly and easily. If your room is ready, you can check in from 1 PM onwards.
  • To use the self-service kiosk, you only need your Sokos Hotels booking number or the booking QR code.
