Driving directions

Welcome to Original Sokos Hotel Kupittaa!

Original Sokos Hotel Kupittaa has three entrances. The main entrance is on Tykistökatu and the indoor connections are from Kupittaa Railway Station and via a lift from the Intelligate car park.

Customer parking is available in a heated car park, P-Intelligate, at Joukahaisenkatu 6, Turku. Price for parking is €15 per day in 2020, or €13 per day for S-Card holders. Entrance to the hotel via an indoor connection. The height of the P-Intelligate car park is 3 metres on the entrance level, and 1.9 metres on the upper and lower levels. The car park also offers charging points for four electric vehicles. Parking spaces are filled in the order of arrival. There are also parking spaces in front of the hotel.

Arriving from the direction of Helsinki:

• Drive along the Helsinki-Turku highway.
• Exit to the right at the Kalevanramppi junction, to the Kupittaa Itäharju direction.
• Turn left to Kalevantie at the traffic lights, to the direction of Kupittaa + (the ‘+' refers to a hospital sign).
• Drive along Kalevantie (which turns into Tykistökatu) and you will  see the hotel on the left.
• If you wish to park at P-Intelligate, turn left at the first junction with traffic lights after the hotel. Access to the car park is on the left about x metres forward (P-Intelligate).

Arriving from the direction of Tampere:

• When driving on Tampere highway (E63), exit to the right from the junction to the direction of E18 Helsinki.
• Drive along the Turku bypass road.
• Exit to the right from the junction to Turku Hämeenlinna Forssa.
• Turn right to Forssa at the traffic lights.
• Drive straight along Hämeentie towards Turku and take the left to Kupittaa Savitehtaankatu (before the Turku University Hospital).
• Turn right to Tykistökatu at the traffic lights
• If you wish to park at P-Intelligate, turn left on the first junction with traffic lights after the hotel. Access to the car park is on the left about x metres forward (P-Intelligate).

Arriving from the harbour:

• Drive along Linnankatu towards the centre of Turku.
• Turn right to Helsinki at the traffic lights.
• Turn left to Helsinki Hämeenlinna at the traffic lights.
• Turn right to Itäharju +.
• Turn right to Tykistökatu at the traffic lights. You will now see the hotel on the left.
• If you want to drive directly to the car park, turn right to Joukahaisenkatu at the junction BEFORE the hotel. Access to the car park (P-Intelligate) is left on Joukahaisenkatu, under the pedestrian walkway.

Arriving from the direction of Pori:

• Drive towards Turku and after passing under the railway bridge, turn left to Helsinki, Hämeenlinna +.
• Continue driving towards Hämeenlinna.
• Turn left to Kupittaa, Itäharju +.
• Turn right to Itäharju +.
• Turn right to Tykistönkatu on the traffic lights. You can now see the hotel on the left.
• If you want to drive directly to the car park, turn right to Joukahaisenkatu at the junction after the hotel. Access to the car park (P-Intelligate) is left on Joukahaisenkatu, under the pedestrian walkway.
