The construction work for the expansion of Original Sokos Hotel Valjus is underway.
The project involves constructing a four-story new building at Kauppakatu 22 as an extension to the current hotel located at Kauppakatu 20. The extension will include the following facilities:
• 33 new air-conditioned hotel rooms, increasing the total capacity from the current 97 rooms to 130 rooms.
• Parking spaces on two levels, some equipped with electric charging points.
• Commercial space at street level.
• A connecting corridor to the existing hotel building over Koivukoskenkatu.
