Koko Suomi Leipoo tv show at Tykkimäki Resort

MTV3's popular Koko Suomi Leipoo program moved to the unique scenery of Break Sokos Hotel Tykkimäki Resort. The 11th season was filmed on the shores of Käyrälampi in Kouvola in June, and the program will begin on MTV Katsomo and MTV3 channel in October.

The program's iconic baking tent was built in May on the Tykkimäki Resort grounds. The resort's central location, lush lakeside scenery, and versatile facilities created an excellent environment for the production to realize the new season. Resort guests also got to experience the atmosphere of the filming and catch a glimpse of the inspiring, colorful baking tent.

Tykkimäki Resort is the first resort destination in the Sokos Hotels chain, representing Finnish nature at its best. The area uniquely combines lakeside scenery, forest nature, and quality services – here, you simply can't escape the Finnish summer landscape.

Viewers will also get to peek into Tykkimäki Resort's magnificent facilities and the surrounding nature in the program.

– The resort area and amusement park, along with the beautiful scenery, offered plenty of different filming locations for the production's use. It's wonderful to be able to show them to viewers, says Johanna Koistinen, Communications Manager at Kymen Seudun Osuuskauppa.

The production company also saw the potential of the new filming location.

– Tykkimäki Resort provided great and visually novel settings for the program. It's wonderful when Koko Suomi Leipoo gets to visit different parts of Finland, and in Kouvola we were received with such warmth, says Tiia-Tuulia Ahomäki, Executive Producer at Warner Bros. International Television Production Finland.

– It's fantastic that a well-known national production boldly came to explore a new filming location and found it suitable for the format. The production company and channel set out with open minds, and together we get to show all of Finland the most beautiful sides of Kymenlaakso and Kouvola, Johanna Koistinen continues.
