Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna's seven different sized meeting rooms offer excellent possibilities to organize all kinds of gatherings. There are rooms to seat up to 150 persons. Within the last few years all the hotel rooms, the meeting facilities as well as the hotel's air conditioning system have been renovated.
Festival venues
Vaakuna Hall in restaurant Aula can be reserved for private use. It is a perfect venue for throwing for instance a free-and-easy cocktail party, a demonstration or a formal dinner party. There is entry to a large terrace area from the Vaakuna Hall.
In restaurant Frans & Rose there is an atmospheric cabinet with a fireplace. It is a peaceful venue for anniversaries, dinner parties etc. The cabinet seats up to 40 persons.
Private saunas
Hotel has three saunas, which are all equipped with own jacuzzi. An ideal number of persons in one sauna party is 10-20.
Located in the conference facilities, Kaunisnurmi is a modern meeting space that seats 30 people in a classroom arrangement, for example.
