Ticket sales for events at Turku's new music venue Fuuga are now open
Turku Music Centre Fuuga will open its doors in autumn 2026. There will be a month-long opening season of concerts, gigs and free programming. Tickets for the first events are now available.
In the fall of 2026, a world-class music venue with exceptional acoustics, Fuuga, the home of all music, will be completed at a prime location along the Aura River in Turku. Fuuga offers two resonant halls:
- Concert Hall (approx. 1000-1300 seats*)
- Atelier Hall (approx. 300 seats*)
The home of all music will open at the turn of October-November, and tickets for Fuuga's first events are now on sale.
The Turku Philharmonic Orchestra will play the first notes in both of Fuuga's halls. The highlight of the opening festival is the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra's opening concert series on November 12-14 with Chief Conductor John Storgårds and soprano Karita Mattila.
The Turku Music Festival brings interdisciplinary content to the opening program, including a trio performance by Turku-based singer Robin Packalen, pianist Iiro Rantala, and ballet dancer Atte Kilpinen.
Turku Jazz City presents the globally rising singer and composer Michael Mayo, whose season as the main guest of UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra begins at Fuuga.
Later in the year, the music venue will celebrate Pepe Willberg's long artistic career with an 80th birthday concert.
