FRAMELESS art experience at Logomo

Event venue Logomo brings the international FRAMELESS immersive art experience outside London for the first time. The experience offers visitors a unique, multi-sensory way to experience art surrounded by the works of great masters. The exhibition utilizes top-level projection, sound, and spatial technology that transforms Logomo's spaces into an experiential art environment.

Ruissalo

Ruissalo's oak forests, 19th-century lace villas, Kansanpuisto, Ruisrock, Honkapirtti's pea soup, and the Botanical Garden have made the island famous. Additionally, nature trails crisscross the island. The diverse nature makes visitors fall in love with Ruissalo at first sight.

Turku Market Hall

Turku Market Hall keeps Turku food traditions alive – and constantly brings something new to the city's food culture. From the Market Hall, you can get both provisions and souvenirs from Turku, whether you're a fan of traditional delicacies, organic food, local food, or culinary novelties. While shopping, you can enjoy lunch or sit down for coffee. Finland's smallest Alko and the best bakery shop can also be found in the Market Hall.

Aurajoki

The Aurajoki river and its surroundings are very important to the people of Turku. The riverbank is enjoyed year-round. The 3.5-kilometer route from Turku Cathedral to Turku Castle offers a good overview of Turku's history and present day. Bridges, history, river boats, idyllic restaurants, bars, and cafes.

Föri

The Föri sailing across the Aurajoki is Finland's only city ferry. It takes you free of charge from Turku to Åbo and back. During the two-minute journey, you can enjoy a magnificent river view. You can ride the Föri year-round.

A Touch of History

The Luostarinmäki Handicrafts Museum that survived the Great Fire of Turku takes you on a journey back hundreds of years. The grass-roofed houses have been furnished as homes and workshops of craftsmen of the old days. At selected times, craftsmen work in the workshops so that visitors have the opportunity to learn about traditional crafts. Luostarinmäki even has its own post office and two shops. As souvenirs, you can take home old-fashioned candies packed in a paper cone.

Have you ever wondered what life was like in ancient castles? The permanent exhibition at Turku Castle illuminates castle life, everyday activities, and celebrations at different times from the perspective of the court and service staff. The Knights' Hall, the round tower prisons, or the gnome's treasure chamber might also interest you.
