In summer 2026, we once again have three festivals! Two cities – three different events. The festival summer begins in June in Ylivieska with the Sun Pampas city festival, continues with the traditional Mustakari Memories by the sea in Kokkola, and concludes with the all-ages Venetsialaiset at the Kokkola Event Park!

Sun Pampas in Ylivieska, June 12–13, 2026

The Sun Pampas city festival takes place in Ylivieska in June. As usual, the festival area will be set up at the Ylivieska ice hall and its surroundings.

The festival area has an age limit of 18+.

The event is hosted by Miina Maasola & Roope Rantala. DJ Santtos will keep the festival crowd entertained throughout the entire weekend!

Friday, June 12: VIIVI, Elastinen, Valvomo, Sami Hakala. Roope & Julia will perform on the outdoor stage between acts.

Saturday, June 13: Komiat, Portion Boys, Juhana Haukkala, Anne Vihelä Band. Roope & Julia will perform on the outdoor stage between acts.

Mustakari Memories 26.-27.6.2026, Kokkola

A festival by the sea! The Mustakari Island hosts Mustakari Memories, which has been part of Kokkola's summers for over 20 years. It gathers visitors to enjoy the maritime festival atmosphere and top artists. Above all, it's a summer event loved by both the city's residents and performers at the best location by the sea.

The festival area has an age limit of 18 years.

Mustakari Memories will be hosted by Hovimuusikko Ilkka. DJ Welho stands for the entertainment between shows.

Children's festival Saturday 27th

Children's day is an event during daytime on Saturday, 12am - 2 pm. The event is free of charge.

Venetsialaiset 28.-29.8.2026, Kokkola

Top artists and a great atmosphere in Kokkola's event park.

Over the years, Venetsialaiset has become the biggest annual public event during the summer in Central Ostrobothnia. We welcome all ages, the event has no age limit.

The event is hosted by Niko Saarinen and DJ Seben. DJ Seben will keep the festival crowd entertained throughout the entire weekend!
