The Linnavirta festival for the whole family, held annually in the river park around Kajaani Castle Ruins, is coming again!

The experiential park festival will be held on 28-30 August 2026. A diverse art programme, local food and concerts will once again bring plenty of people to Rantapuisto to enjoy the late summer atmosphere together! Check out the event programme here.

Sat 29 August 2026 will also celebrate the Venetian Night with music and pleasant togetherness in atmospheric lighting at Kalkkisilta Laituriterrassi.
The event starts at 6:30 pm, Cravin´Groud performs at 8:30 pm and after the performance at 10 pm the evening culminates in fireworks!
