Kupittaa and Adventure Park:
Activities for all kids from toddlers to juniors – and something for the adults, too. The play area also offers a range of crafts and activities, wonderful theatre performances and, in August, a Musical Picnic.
Next door, the Kupittaa outdoor swimming arena is a great spot to spend a hot summer's day.
Jakke Jokilautta – Jakke River Ferry
Passengers both young and old will have the best of times cruising the river Aura. The cafe on the ferry serves snacks and refreshments.
Enjoy watching and living the life at the riverfront – from morning to night.
Get your day going with a brisk morning stroll along the river or a nice rung all the way up to the Halinen rapids.
Turku Art Museum – Just the building is worth a visit!
The National Romantic granite building of the Turku Art Museum is a monument in itself.
Designed by professor Gustaf Nyström, the museum was at the time of its completion in 1904 the second building in Finland to have been designed specifically as an art museum.
In addition to exhibitions, the museum organises various theme days and events. If you wish to visit several museums in Turku, we recommend buying the Museum Walk card.
The sun and the sea – what a wonderful summer's day!
Go for a picnic or for a jog.
There is even a dog park at Ruissalo Camping.
