The third floor of Original Sokos Hotel Wiklund houses the virtual gaming world Cybernet, which offers interesting activities for the whole family. Virtual reality offers all kinds of experiences: you get to shoot zombies alone or with a friend, or explore the space without leaving the centre of Turku. Of the more than 40 options, some are suitable for everyone, some only for those older than 12 or 18. Go ahead and try them out! Open all year round.
SAMPPALINNA OUTDOOR SWIMMING STADIUM
A short distance from the city centre, you can find a paradise for swimming enthusiasts, the Samppalinna Outdoor Swimming Stadium. Its large 50-metre pool has room for swimmers, water runners, divers and others wishing to enjoy the water. There is a separate children's pool for young visitors. The large terraces and grass areas offer plenty of room for sunbathing.
ABOA VETUS & ARS NOVA
Interested in history or archaeology? Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova, located on the shore of the Aurajoki river in Turku, offers exciting tours with plots for children. The children will take part in completing the tasks. The town quarter ruins excavated underneath Aboa Vetus offer interesting insights into the medieval past of the City of Turku. If you are looking for action for the whole family, you should head to JukuPark! The water park offers great slides that you can slide down with tyres, speed mats or in the traditional way. The park area also offers plenty of other fun activities, such as giant water balloons, Power Paddler mini boats and bouncy castles.
Enjoy the best moments of the summer with the Moomin characters in the Moominworld in Naantali! You can have an adventure on the Kailo island and have memorable moments involving theatre, fairy tale paths and Magic Seashells. You can buy a Moomin wristband at a special price at the hotel (valid for 2 consecutive days) and hop on board the popular Moomin bus.
Flowpark, located in Skanssi, Turku, is an ecological amusement park that has adventure course built on living trees without harming them. You can complete a variety of tasks up to twenty metres above ground level. The tasks involve ropeways of various levels, including swaying paths, liana jumps, swings and cable slides. Flowpark is intended for people of all ages with adventure spirit – there is challenge for both amateurs and experienced adventurers!
Superpark is a fun place for the whole family. In the adventure area, you get to jump and climb around. No skill is required at the start; you will learn soon enough! Open all year round.
