What is Sporttiklubi?
Sporttiklubi is a free membership program by Sokos Hotels designed for Finnish sports clubs, making travel easier and more affordable for sports teams. As a member, the club and all its teams gain access to Sporttiklubi's diverse benefits: discounted accommodation rates and Sporttiateriat meals, 10% gift card rebate, late check-out, one hour of meeting space free of charge, and rotating partner benefits.

Who is Sporttiklubi for?
Sporttiklubi is designed for Finnish sports clubs with a valid business ID. When a club joins Sporttiklubi, all its teams can take advantage of the benefits regardless of sport, age group, or league level. Sporttiklubi is intended for teams of all ages.

Who is Sporttiklubi suitable for?
Sporttiklubi is suitable for all kinds of sports clubs regardless of sport; ice hockey, floorball, football, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, cheerleading, golf, as well as many other sports clubs and teams.

How do I join Sporttiklubi?
You can easily join Sporttiklubi using this form »
The registration is complete once the club's information has been saved in the hotel's booking system. The information is updated in the booking system within a few business days from registration. An email confirmation of membership will be sent to the sports club contact person provided in the registration form.

Can a sports club join Sporttiklubi at the hotel reception?
No, you can only join Sporttiklubi through our website.

Does Sporttiklubi membership cost anything for the sports club?
No, Sporttiklubi membership is completely free.

For how large groups are Sporttiklubi benefits valid?
You can access the benefits when the group size is at least 11 people.

How do I access Sporttiklubi benefits?
You can access Sporttiklubi benefits when the sports club has joined Sporttiklubi, a group booking (min 11 people) has been made through our sales service or hotel under the club's official name, and you mention your club's Sporttiklubi membership when making the reservation.

What is the Sporttiklubi gift card benefit?
As a Sporttiklubi member, you receive an S Group gift card benefit from team accommodation. We return 10% of the team's accommodation total amount including VAT, which has been paid in cash, with a personal credit card, S-Business card, or advance invoice. Please note that receiving the gift card benefit requires a combined invoice.

Where do I get the S Group gift card?
The gift card is received at the hotel reception when paying the invoice. The S Group gift card is handed to the team leader or group leader at the hotel during check-out.

Where can S Group gift cards be used as payment?
Gift cards can be used as payment widely at all S Group locations throughout Finland. The gift card can be used, for example, at Sokos Hotels, Radisson hotels in Finland, S Group restaurants, ABC service stations, Sokos department stores, Prisma stores, and grocery stores such as S-market, Alepa, and Sale.

Can team accommodation be paid with an S Group gift card?
Yes, you can. You can pay for team accommodation entirely or partially with an S Group gift card. However, please note that the portion of accommodation paid with a previously earned gift card does not accumulate a new gift card benefit. A new gift card benefit only accumulates from the portion paid with another approved payment method.

Does the team receive a gift card benefit also at Original Sokos Hotel Viru in Tallinn?
No. In Tallinn, no gift card rebate is granted, but the benefit is calculated for the team directly as a 10% discount on the final amount of the stay.

Can the gift card be used immediately during the same visit?
No, because the S Group gift card is handed to the team leader or group leader at the hotel reception during check-out. The team can use the gift card to pay for future accommodations, team meals, or necessary purchases.

Can the gift card benefit be exchanged for another benefit?
No. Sporttiklubi gift card benefits are always paid as S Group gift cards. At Original Sokos Hotel Viru, the benefit is calculated for the team directly as a 10% discount on the final amount of the stay.

What payment methods can I use for Sporttiklubi bookings?
The team can pay for team accommodation and Sporttiateriat meals in cash, with a personal credit card, S-Business card, or advance invoice. Please note that receiving the gift card benefit requires a combined invoice.

Can a sports club use the S-Business card?

Can Sporttiklubi benefits be used without membership?
No, because the benefits are only valid for Sporttiklubi members. Joining is quick and free, so it's easy to get started.

Are Sportti-meals available at all hotels?
Sportti-meals are available at most of our Sokos Hotels and also at some Radisson hotels in Finland.

How do I book a Sportti meal for the team?
Sporttibuffet, evening snack, and box meal must be ordered in advance for the group (min. 11 people) from the sales service or directly from the hotel. Buffet meal menus alternate between even and odd weeks. For an additional fee, it's also possible to supplement the meal package. Ask more from the sales service »

Does the group need to stay overnight to use the Sportti-meal benefit?
No. As a Sporttiklubi member, you can order nutritious Sportti-meals in advance from our sales service or hotel even without group accommodation.

Does a Sporttiklubi booking accumulate other loyalty benefits?
Sporttiklubi benefits are designed specifically for sports clubs and their members, so the benefits cannot be combined with other loyalty programs. Purchases do not accumulate S-Bonus or other loyalty program benefits.

Can I use my S-Card membership for Sporttiklubi team bookings?
No, you cannot. Sporttiklubi bookings do not include benefits from other loyalty programs.

Can I use my S-Etukortti card for Sporttiklubi team bookings?
No, you cannot. Sporttiklubi bookings do not include benefits from other loyalty programs.
