Eurydice and Orpheus – Immersive Performance and Dinner at Olavinlinna Castle
Something truly special is taking place at Olavinlinna Castle on 13 and 14 November, when the ancient myth of love, death and loss comes to life in the castle’s corridors and courtyards.
Olavinlinna Castle will be transformed into the underworld, where guests are invited to join a wedding dinner starting at 5:00 pm. The wedding dinner includes a buffet served in the King’s Hall and costs €30 per person.
For more information and table reservations, please visit Raflaamo – Eurydice and Orpheus at Olavinlinna Castle.
After dinner, the experience continues throughout the castle. In this immersive performance with no traditional auditorium, the audience moves freely among the events, allowing each guest to experience the story in their own chosen order.
Combining theatre, contemporary circus, music and spatial art, this multisensory production retells the ancient myth from Eurydice’s perspective.
Tickets for the performance are sold separately and can be purchased from the Finnish National Museum website: Eurydice and Orpheus – Finnish National Museum.
