Island of Horrors at Seurahuone Savonlinna

Halloween in Savonlinna – Island of Horrors, 30–31 October 2026

The revamped Island of Horrors returns this year for a Halloween celebration for the whole family on 30–31 October 2026 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Unlike in previous years, the programme will take place at Original Sokos Hotel Seurahuone Savonlinna, Savonlinna Market Square and Joel Lehtonen Park. Expect a chilling atmosphere and plenty of activities for both younger and older family members. The Market Square will also feature vendors selling liquorice and balloons, as well as a Samiedu product sales stand.

Activities and entertainment for children

Get a spooky new look with face painting and enjoy a wide variety of Halloween-themed activities for children, including Horror at the Manor, Lost Toys, Ghost Ball, Horror Pictures, Trivia, Cornhole and Pumpkin Hunt. The event will also feature a revamped fire, water and pyro show.
