District heating pipe renovation work in front of Vaakuna Pori - heating distribution interruption starting Monday 12.10.2026 at 9 am

Dear Customer,

District heating pipe renovation work has begun on Gallen-Kallelankatu. The construction site is located in front of the hotel, and excavation and earthwork will be carried out in the area. The work is estimated to continue for approximately one month (5.10.-5.11.26).

During the work, the hotel will operate normally, but the area may experience:

construction traffic
occasional noise during daytime
changes to access routes in front of the hotel

Pedestrian access to the properties will be maintained as smoothly as possible throughout the construction period.

Additionally, a district heating distribution interruption related to the renovation is scheduled for Monday 12.10.2026 starting at 9:00 AM. The estimated interruption time is approximately 12 hours. During the interruption, heating and hot water distribution will be cut off from the property. Cold water will function normally.
