Ode to Maritime Oulu – art hotel room
Experience a night in the middle of a work of art! The new art hotel room "Ode to Maritime Oulu" brings Oulu's maritime character to life through bold art. The room's most impressive element is the floor created using alcohol ink technique, which reflects the depth of the sea and creates an unforgettable atmosphere. Abstract Sensory Journey – what does Oulu happiness look, feel and sound like?
Designed by KaikuArt and implemented by Original Sokos Hotel Arina, the Abstract Sensory Journey is an experience consisting of seven sensory stations throughout the hotel. At each station, you can experience art through different senses and reflect on the emotions it evokes. You can pick up the materials from our reception and explore the route independently. Mielestäni products
The Mielestäni products, created through a design collaboration between Osuuskauppa Arina, Oulu2026, and designer Susanna Sivonen, are available at the Original Sokos Hotel Arina reception shop, and you can enjoy Mielestäni wines at the hotel's restaurants. The new product line showcases a layered pattern co-created by the people of Oulu, reflecting culture, environment, change, and individuals in shared time – both today and in the future.
