Offering apartments as part of the accommodation selection is completely new for the Sokos Hotels chain.

Combining home-like accommodation and high-quality hotel life, the apartments serve as a much-needed addition to the accommodation selection of Sokos Hotels, Savonlinna and Hotel Seurahuone. "The city hosts a large number of both domestic and foreign business travellers on longer assignments. For companies, these apartments offer an effortless way to book long-term rentals through the Sokos Hotel Sales Service as opposed to signing rental agreements which require advance payments. Changes in the duration of the stay also do not entail unnecessary costs," says Kati Vihma, General Manager at Original Sokos Hotel Seurahuone in Savonlinna. Business travelers staying in the Seurahuone Apartments can, as S-Card holders, take advantage of meal and other benefits of the S-Group loyalty program.

Accommodation prices range from 1990 €/month and 485 €/week. Breakfast can be purchased separately and can also be paid for with the S-Card meal benefit. When cooking isn't an appealing option, restaurant services are offered at Original Sokos Hotel Seurahuone and other restaurants located on the shores of Lake Saimaa. Covered parking in the immediate vicinity of the apartments is available at a charge.

Seurahuone Apartments are now a part of the Original hotel type of the Sokos Hotels chain. Original hotels draw their strengths from local traditions and ways of life, in close cooperation with local actors. The renovation of the new apartments can largely be contributed to the work of local Savonian professionals. Hotel guests are encourages to enjoy local services, such as organised walking tours or cruises on Lake Saimaa.
