Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) is Finland’s national sustainable tourism programme administered by Visit Finland. It comprehensively addresses different aspects of sustainability, including environmental, socio-cultural, and economic responsibility.

The STF label helps travellers identify destinations and businesses that take sustainability seriously. It is awarded only to organisations that have successfully completed the Sustainable Travel Finland programme and met its criteria. Certified businesses are also regularly monitored and evaluated to ensure continued compliance.

Companies that successfully complete the STF programme and fulfil its requirements are granted the Sustainable Travel Finland label, and their sustainability performance is continuously monitored and regularly reviewed. Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna Kouvola has been granted the Sustainable Travel Finland label by Visit Finland. The hotel’s certification is valid until 1 March 2027.
