Original Sokos Hotel Tripla has been awarded the Green Key certificate and the Sustainable Travel Finland label.
This means that we operate according to strict environmental criteria and do our part in taking care of the environment.
Our sustainability actions
- In spring 2024 we added a physical recycling instructions note and possibility to recycle biowaste in the hotel rooms.
- Since autumn 2024 we have been Travel Proud -certified location. Through the programme, we’re helping to make travel more inclusive for LGBTQ+ travellers. Read more >>
Tips for Responsibility
- Drink clean tap water. Glasses can be found in the rooms, and water is served in jugs in the restaurants.
- Favor local food in the restaurant and at breakfast. Although the buffet is full of delicacies, start with a smaller portion and take more if you still can.
- Give and experience gifts. Instead of traditional material gifts, prefer gift cards, restaurant dinners, and pampering weekends.
- Hop on a bike or use public transportation.
- Hike in nearby destinations. Ask our reception for tips on the best local and nearby hiking spots.
