Original Sokos Hotel Presidentti’s sauna and pool area are temporarily closed as a major transformation project begins. The aim is to create an even more inviting and experience-driven wellness area, which will reopen to guests in summer 2027.
Original Sokos Hotel Presidentti’s Sauna and Pool Area to Be Renewed
The new sauna and pool area will bring a relaxing spa atmosphere to the heart of the city. Light tones, natural materials and a harmonious design will create a welcoming environment for rest and relaxation.
The existing pool will be completely rebuilt and complemented by a new hot tub, offering even more opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation. The sauna and shower facilities will also be fully redesigned. Guest saunas will be rebuilt, layouts will be improved for greater comfort and functionality, and the number of showers will be increased to better meet guest needs. As part of the project, the private sauna will be removed and will not be replaced.
The transformation will also place a strong emphasis on accessibility, ensuring the facilities serve all guests as comfortably and conveniently as possible.
Once completed, the new sauna and pool area will offer an even more versatile wellness experience in the heart of Helsinki. Its spa-inspired ambiance, new hot tub, redesigned saunas and enhanced accessibility will further strengthen Original Sokos Hotel Presidentti’s position as an attractive destination for both leisure and business travellers.
