Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna and the Le Blason restaurant in Hämeenlinna have now been opened.
The hotel’s technical building services and its 123 rooms, 8 meeting rooms, reception, restaurant and other facilities have been completely renovated.

The story begins when you step into the hotel
The story of Hotel Vaakuna intertwines the history and nature of Hämeenlinna. On your trip, you can see and experience old-time merchandise: metal, glass, and wood. You can feel the story continue in different parts of the hotel: the reception, rooms, corridors, meeting rooms, restaurant – everywhere.
Previously known as the Tower Sauna, the private sauna has been converted into two rooms, one of which is a Junior suite with a sauna. The top floor of the hotel offers a magnificent view of Lake Vanajavesi. There are a total of five rooms with saunas at Hotel Vaakuna.

Locality and originality are also evident in the hotel’s French-style restaurant Le Blason. Its completely renovated and expanded kitchen allows for an increasingly nuanced menu. Le Blason continues to offer its customers the familiar deliciousness and country-style French cuisine, but with a new, bold and local touch. Le Blason’s menu has something for everyone – house-made, honest food.
