Tapiola Central Pool

Next to the hotel, the Tapiola Central Pool with its fountains is a delightful sight. During the summer, the pool allows for activities like stand-up paddleboarding and other water activities. You can observe the action from the terrace of the Grill it! restaurant with a cold drink in hand.

In winter, the pool is transformed into an ice skating rink, giving you the chance to test if you still have your skating skills!

Tapiola Shopping Centers

Tapiola offers great shopping opportunities. Right next to the hotel is the Ainoa shopping center, with over 50 shops ranging from toy stores to clothing shops and pet stores to cafes.

If you're traveling by car, you can reach the nearby Iso Omena shopping center in under 10 minutes. Iso Omena is also conveniently accessible by metro.

Haltia - The Finnish Nature Centre

The Finnish Nature Centre Haltia is situated in Espoo, adjacent to the Nuuksio National Park. Half an hour’s drive from Helsinki will take you to fantastic exhibitions, a network of dozens of kilometers of trails in Nuuksio National Park, equipment rental, a hiking equipment and gift shop, restaurant Haltia, excellent meeting and sauna facilities – including outdoors in the wild – as well as an accessible lookout point, campfire sites and courses and events customized for each season.

Tapiola Sinfonietta

The Tapiola Sinfonietta is an internationally known chamber orchestra. Its repertoire includes classical music from various eras and adventurous cross-discipline artistic productions. It is the municipal orchestra of the City of Espoo, and as such reaches out to listeners both in the concert hall and beyond.

In the Captivating Art Exhibition, your problem-solving skills are challenged by the works of artist Ansa Vaara, which guide exhibition visitors toward new, previously unseen and unexplored states of mind.

Kino Tapiola

Kino Tapiola, located in Tapiola, Espoo, is one of the few old-style cinemas in the Helsinki metropolitan area that has been preserved in its original, culturally protected form and carefully renovated with great attention to detail. We are also Espoo’s only neighborhood cinema.

Kino Tapiola features a cozy wine bar and a summer terrace, and following the seating renovation completed in June 2024, serving alcoholic beverages is now permitted at all of our screenings.

Move and Relax

Go for a run. The coastal jogging trails practically start at the hotel's doorstep. You can borrow bicycles from the hotel reception to explore Tapiola from a saddle. Helsinki isn't too far away for a quick visit.

The nearby bowling alley, Tapiola Tennis Park, and the Tapiola Golf course, open in the summer, are perfect for fans of ball games.
