Staying with children at Sokos Hotels
You can look forward to a comfortable stay with your children. For youngsters, their very own extra bed may well be the highlight of the trip, and teens appreciate their own separate extra room. Onni Orava organizes fun activities and amusement for children during their hotel stay.
Extra bed – affordable and comfortable
When booking a room, you can conveniently book an extra bed. The cost of extra beds for children is €10–25/night/child, depending on the hotel. The number of extra beds is limited. When booking, simply enter the correct number of guests and our system will search for rooms matching your search and also include the charge for extra beds. Please note that children under three years of age stay for free with an adult guest.
Extra room for older children
The extra room is popular with teenagers and very convenient, especially for families with older children. One extra room for children (1–2 children, 3–15 years old) is granted per one standard rate adult room. The rate includes accommodation in a standard room for two children (3–15 years) and breakfast (with the exception of Heymo 1 by Sokos Hotels). Please note that there is a limited number of extra rooms available.

Onni Orava's play corner
During holiday seasons, Onni creates cozy play corners for children at our hotels. They get to experience fun and games that are safe and help develop skills. Onni prepares own corners with lots of activities for both young and slightly older children also outside the holiday seasons. They also have magazines and games which can be borrowed.
For babies
Onni has something to offer even to the youngest guests, who can get a potty and a crib for their room. The restaurants provide highchairs and bibs and, naturally, the possibility to heat up baby food.
Onni likes nature
Follow Onni Orava's tips and help save the environment. Onni has collected five instructions that you can follow during your visit, and also apply at home. Ask the reception for Onni's Environment pass and act like Onni. The reverse side of the pass contains Onni's city hike, which takes you outside for nature observations which you can note down. You will receive a small surprise from the reception once you return the pass.
