The main goal of the hotel modernisation is to create one of the country's most energy-efficient hotels in the Nordic energy capital, which is made possible by solutions such as geothermal energy, the hotel's own solar energy and innovative technology solutions from local companies.

When the renovation is completed in 2025, the hotel will have more than 260 rooms, four restaurants, an event floor and a sauna section at the top with a view of Vaasa and a rooftop swimming pool.

The following spaces can be booked from 26 February 2024 onwards: Haapa, Hehku, Vihta, Aurora, Filmi, Kabinetti, Onni, Solar, Tuuli and Valo-Working lounge. Our sales service will return to catering options closer to the date.

Haapa

A private sauna located on the roof of the hotel, on the Huippu – Panoramic Sauna & Pool floor, where the views dazzle and amaze even the modest Vaasa resident! The bright space has everything you need – lounges, meeting rooms, a sauna with a view and two private terraces. Suitable for meetings and sauna events for up to 20-30 people. During your visit, the tropically warm swimming pool and the services of our sauna host are at your disposal.

Hehku

A private sauna located on the roof of the hotel. Suitable for sauna events of less than 10 people and more relaxed smaller meetings. During your visit, the tropically warm swimming pool and the services of our sauna host are at your disposal.

Vihta

A private sauna located on the roof of the hotel. Suitable for sauna events of less than 10 people and more relaxed smaller meetings. During your visit, the tropically warm swimming pool and the services of our sauna host are at your disposal.

Aurora

Royal's largest conference room, Aurora, is located next to the restaurant services. The space's adaptability meets even the most demanding needs, and the technical equipment of the space leaves no one cold. The space can be used for many different purposes, such as breakfast information sessions, exhibition space and various parties. In class format, the space can accommodate max. 72 persons, in theater form up to 120 persons.

Filmi

Filmi is the meeting room, which offers the atmosphere of a movie theater, with its plush armchair seats, offers a memorable experience. The excellent image quality and sound reproduction enable your event to do a little more than a normal meeting space - use it at kick-off events, media events, launches or programmatic events. Hybrid events are also possible. Ask about individual implementation for your event from our sales service.

Trattoria's cabinet

The cabinet that is connected to the lobby and the main restaurant of our hotel, Trattoria, is suitable for both meeting use and private meals. The cabinet can accommodate 12 people in diplomat format.

Onni

Meeting at Onni is not boring! This bright "Creative room" equipped with the latest technology is designed to create stimuli and awaken different senses, e.g. with the help of lighting, functional furniture and material choices. The space is also suitable for more relaxed occasions - socializing on the sofas or playing table football!

Solar

On a beautiful day, our meeting room Solar is filled with sun rays and energizes its guests. Meeting rooms equipped with natural light are particularly popular, as they create a pleasant and inspiring environment where participants can concentrate better and stay refreshed.

Tuuli

On a beautiful day, our meeting room Tuuli is filled with sun rays and energizes its guests. Meeting rooms equipped with natural light are particularly popular, as they create a pleasant and inspiring environment where participants can concentrate better and stay refreshed.
