We recommend visiting our restaurant Repin, where you will find unique dishes of Northern cuisine — it is a great gastronomical experience! You are also welcome to visit Pub 8th Line to spend a fabulous evening with friends watching sports broadcasts on a big screen in Full HD and enjoying a variety of specialties.

Location is pretty good, a few steps from the bus stop and very close to the Annunciation bridge - so the center is in walking distance. The breakfast was excellent, actually the best breakfast which I ever had.
Location can always be debated, especially in a large city. This is on one of the islands. The Erimitage is a short ride away (bus or trolleybus). The layout of the metro system means that it is of little use to tourists. There is NO metro line running parallel to Nevski Prospekt! The hotel is near the river, where you have a wonderful view of Saint Petersburg, especially at night. The hotel is a modern one run by a Finnish company. It is impeccable. We had a big room with a good place to work and the possibility to entertain friends (you can also have a smaller room). Large breakfast buffet. The staff is fantastic. This may very well turn out to become my favorite hotel in SP, but I miss the nearness of Nevski Prospekt. In return I have the quietness of Vasileevsky Island, which is also nice. But remember: The bridges go up at night and they stay up till 5 am! Be back at the hotel before 1.25 am!
Aamiainen kattava. Plussaa: suomenkielinen menu. Lähistöllä olevalta kävelykadulta (Linja 6) löytyy tasokkaita ravintoloita ja kahviloita. Hotellin kautta saa hankittua lippuja konsertteihin ja Pietarin ulkopuolelle tehtäviin opastettuihin retkiin. Henkilökunta puhuu sujuvaa englantia.
I thought the staff was very helpful and honest. The rooms are large and clean and very comfortable. The food was good in the pub and restaurant. I would recommend the breakfast in the mornings.
Great Hotel. Good location, friendly and pro personal. Nice and clean rooms. Very good and tasty breakfast. Peacyfull area. Short walk to old town, next to Neva river, so easy to take boat cruisings. Not far from Galleria shopping center ... - 654esar
We just came from our trip to St Petersburg and stayed at the Sokos hotel. We had a great experience , very good service. Highly recommend it. It was within walking distance to major attractions such as the Hermitage and many other attractions in St Petersburg. We walked at night from our Russian Folks event and it was nice to see the city at night. - princesa23
we stayed 2 nights at the hotel. the staff were courteous and efficient. the breakfast was very good with an excellent choice of food. The trip was a birthday present for my husband who has a significant birthday this year and when the receptionist informed us that we had been given an upgrade to a suite it was the icing on a wonderful cake that St. Petersburg is. - mail663
Great family hotel. Must include the breakfast which is outstanding. For families not talking guided tours, suggest taking an Uber to downtown from the hotel since it's a 1-2km walk and Uber is super cheap. Restaurants and bar downstairs works well in the evenings and there is a convenience store right outside.
Definitely recommend this if you are taking the cruise from Helsinki since it is a stop away from the harbour. - rahulsuri100

Restoration of the Solo Sokos Hotel Vasilievsky facade is completed
We love our city and as a socially responsible company we take care of preserving the cultural heritage. Owing to the restoration, today you have the possibility to explore the vaults of a building, part of which was once the residence of dignitaries. In the 19th century here was located the mansion of the Swedish consul L. Sterki, and later the house belonged to the widow of the secret counselor F.V. Ovsyannikov, a famous academician, a major physiologist and anatomist, who created the physiological laboratory in the Academy of Sciences. Over the time, the building fell into decay, and we were building the facades almost from scratch. Unfortunately, the short northern summer is the only time when there is an opportunity to carry out the maintenance works and take care of the beauty of our beloved city. Today, the interior of the hotel boasts with noble details: exquisite decoration of rooms, paintings, chandeliers and marble floors in the foyer. We try to preserve the spirit of aristocratic Petersburg so that your trip will become truly memorable!
