Our very own "mountain" Joupiska offers a chance to ski and snowboard here amongst the plains of South Ostrobothnia. If the cold gets the best of you momentarily, enjoy a hot cup of cocoa at their restaurant by the slope. Another skiing slope Simpsiö is located in the neighboring town Lapua.
