Next to the Ähtäri Zoo you will find Flowpark rope adventure trail.  It is so exciting that you can feel it in the pit of your stomach even when looking at others go from the ground. Warmly recommended for the adventurous!

Ähtäri Zoo is a top destination for children, but I recommend it for everyone! Last year, I made a motorcycle trip there with my husband and a nature hike looking at the animals is truly fun and relaxing.

In the summertime, kids mostly dictate where we go. It is the same with us. Of course, our early-teen son likes the wild rides at Powerpark, but also, for example, nice miniature golf courses.  You can find those for example, at the tourism centre at Kalajärvi or next to the Tuuri village shop.

I recommend that you check out the diverse gig offering of Rytmikorjaamo in Seinäjoki.  "Rytmis" is easy to reach by bus from the centre leaving from the corner of Hotel Vaakuna. From my own experience, I can vouch that even if you come from the neighbouring area it is worthwhile taking a mini break in Seinäjoki, eat well at a restaurant or check out your favourite band and sleep overnight at a hotel!

Duudsonit Activity Parks´s attractions include a parkour area for all ages, a giant trampoline and a large air-slope. Even the smallest of adventures can climb on nets and drive pedal cars.

The administrative and cultural centre of Seinäjoki is one of the most important creations of Alvar Aalto. The Aalto Centre, composed of six buildings and speaking directly to the spectator in clean and timeless form language, was mainly completed between 1960 and 1968.

Ruuhikoski Golf offers excellent conditions for players of all levels. The Ruuhikoski golf course with its altitude differences blends into the stylish Ostrobothnian river scenery. The course has been designed by the internationally renowned Robert Trent Jones Jr. The golf course designed by the master designer requires always more accuracy than distance
