In Oulu, you will find things to see and do in summer as well as in winter. Whether you love the serenity of nature or are looking for the thrill of speed, you will find your favourites among Oulu's various activities and sights. Here are a few tips for your visit.

Break Point

At Eden, Break Point is located at Nallikari beach in front of the hotel. Take a moment to yourself and enjoy the nearness of the sea. Relax and recharge. Breathe in the salty air, listen to the sound of the waves and dream of faraway places, and you will forget all your worries. Borrow a free camping chair – have a seat on the beach or by a pine tree. Listen, feel, experience. Look to the horizon and take it all in.

Oulu Zipline Solo Adventure

Close to our hotel, you can experience wild rides at Zipline Solo Adventure. The starting point of the cable slide is in a 20-metre tower in Nallikari's gorgeous scenery, and the slide is 250 metres long. You can experience this with your friend or alone, because there are two parallel cables. You can buy tickets at the hotel reception. 

Activities for families with children

In front of our hotel and elsewhere in Oulu, you will find many things to do also with your children. In close proximity to the hotel, the Vauhtipuisto park offers activities for children of all ages, such as bouncy castles and carousels. In winter, the Winter Village, located close to the hotel, offers reindeer and pony rides, a tube slide, and many other activities. You can obtain tickets at the hotel reception. The Science Centre Tietomaa is an excellent visiting place for the entire family, whether you want to learn new things or challenge your brain and body. Tietomaa's giant movie theatre plays 3D movies that take the viewers to the bottom of the sea or the dinosaur era, for example. 

Cycling in Oulu

Oulu has fantastic landscapes for cycling. The Hietasaari area surrounding our hotel and the Ainolanpuisto park, located in the city centre, are excellent places for exploring the city on bike. When you stay with us, you can borrow bikes from the reception, free of charge in summer, for two hours at a time.
